Our Online MH Programs

Communication: Our online MH in Communication guides students through the history and practice of media, communication and related technology from ancient times to the digital age. A comprehensive curriculum — including such courses as Politics and the News, Philosophy of Communication and New Media — equips students with a solid understanding of the political, legal and social implications of twenty-first century media practices. This concentration also offers a unique focus on increasingly popular subjects including Transmedia Storytelling and Cyber Culture. Graduates may go on to pursue a wide range of careers in the communications field, including: public relations specialist, social media specialist, event organizer, higher education administration, technical writer or editor.

Creative Writing: The online MH degree with a concentration in Creative Writing is a practical, hands-on program that allows students to hone their creative abilities and discover new talents. This program combines the academic study of creative prose, poetry and performance writing with hands-on application. Students will gain practical experience producing various genres of creative composition, including poetry, short stories, novels, creative non-fiction, young adult fiction and screenplays. Film Studies: Our online MH in Film Studies offers an in-depth exploration of significant films and monumental moments from the birth and rise of motion pictures to contemporary world cinema.
